About Me
Josh Weidman grew up in central Pennsylvania and still resides there with his wife and 2 kids. After graduating college, he held a couple different jobs and started a couple ventures mostly involving construction companies and sales. Josh soon grew tired of the long hours, heavy lifting and demanding schedule and began looking to escape the “rat race.”
He learned about Real Estate from two of his friends and how easy it was to make money with just a computer and a phone! Josh comments now that, “I was very skeptical at first because it simply seemed too good to be true. However, when I saw that they drove nicer cars than me and showed me some of their recent real estate success stories that I believed I could do it too!”
Josh later started to lean on his two friends for as much advice and knowledge as he could get from them. This included him meeting other successful real estate investors. Very soon, Josh was able to work on his own real estate deal and 30 days later he realized this business was not only more lucrative than working physical labor, but gave him the independence he always dreamed of.
He then was able to stop doing physical labor at all hours and started his first real estate company called, Franchise Real Estate. He concentrated on wholesaling properties where you actually never need to buy or own the real estate but only have to put the property under contract and then “sell” or “assign” the contract to another real estate investor for quick and easy cash.
He now enjoys being able to set his own schedule and the perks that come with being your own boss (such as working in jeans and a t-shirt). He comments that “real estate investing is truly an amazing opportunity where you can work only a few hours to make good money”. Obviously, Josh likes to make a lot of money so he ends up working about 30 hours per week.
